3 Pitt’s first appearance when he rescues a woman scientist from a hit squad on a beach. 4 Scientists discover contamination and are sent to mines. 5 Contamination survey team sent into desert to discover source. The woman Pitt rescues is part of this team, which is why she was targeted. 6 Pitt on date with woman scientist. 7 Pitt and Al on Nile discover sunken burial barge. 8 Introduced to Massarde (runs the waste processing plant) and Kazim (general who runs the African state that the plant is operating in) in the processing plant. 9 Survey team enter Mali 10 Pitt and Al arrive off the coast of Nigeria. 11 Detailing the threat from the ‘red tide’ chemical pollution enhanced algae that threaten to kill the world’s oceans. 12/13 Pitt, Rudi Gunn, and Al Board powerboat and head up river toward Mali. Run in with the Mali navy of chopper and gunboat. 14 Survey team stuff. 15 Sandecker tries to drum up support for incursion at UN. 16 Pitt and crew look for source of contamination and eventually find it appearing in the river at the mouth of a dried up creek that used to empty into the river. 17/18/20 Run in with gunboat. Escape and drop Gunn off to swim ashore and get home with sample of river. Self-destruct powerboat as diversion for Gunn. Pitt and Al Unintentionally board Massarde’s palatal houseboat. Find office contact Sandecker, inform that Gunn is attempting to escape at airport. Get captured by Massarde. 21 UN Special Forces sent to rescue Gunn. 22 Gunn makes it to airport and hides. Pitt and Al are interviewed my Massarde. 23 Survey team captured and sent to gold mines. 24/25 Pitt and Al escape houseboat in chopper Ditch in river. Walk into town. Get into bar brawl. Steal classic car and head out into desert 26 UN reaction force picks up Gunn. 27 Bad guys yakking about escape of Pitt. 28/29 Pitt and Al Meet prospector and hear story about confederate ship escaping to Africa. 30 Gunn gets back to the US with the water sample. Find out the red tide will happen in three months. 31 Massarde spy detailed. Pitt and Al found on satellite photos. 32/33 Our heroes Hide car Wait for train in old foreign legion fort. Get to the solar plant by Boarding supply train, hide in air-conditioning of hazard waste container. Robots unload the container which Drops down underground. End up in an underground cavern where the plants secret is revealed. Acres and acres of nuclear waste being stored. 34 Get captured and have that ‘evil villain meets bond moment’ Finds out that although the station is operating, it can’t burn all the waste so most of it is stored in underground caverns. This waste is escaping down an ancient dried up creek, out into the river, then out to sea. Pitt and Al Sent to gold mines. 35 Sandecker meets with the Prez of America. Describes how the red tide will engulf the oceans of the world Satellites see Pitt and al loaded into chopper for gold mines. 36 Unloaded at mine and set to work. 37 Get thrown into cell with the toxicology team. 38 Escape mines. 39 In truck escaping across desert 40 Recap with Sandecker 41/42/43 Pitt and al in desert on foot. Find cave painting of iron side. Finds kitties crashed airplane. Build sand yacht out of plane. 44 Pitt and Al make it out of the desert. UN discusses a rescue for the miners. Pitt contacts old mate about ironclad drawings he saw. 45 Pitt and al board a transport plane carrying UN strike force. 46/47 Transport lands. Three troop carriers and a military dune buggy set out for the mine. Rescue miners. Transport plane is destroyed so they set out for the railway that connects the solar waste facility with the coast. Hoping to hitch a ride on the train. 48 Bad guys get the wrong idea and head in the opposite direction to group Good guys get a coded message and work out that the group is headed to the waste facility. 49 Sandecker gets president to send team to rescue UN force. Pitt’s mate researches the iron side sailing to Africa. 50 Pitt’s strike team set up a base in the old fort next to the train line. 51 Bad guys get suspicious of the fort. 52 Al makes a break in the buggy to get help. 53 Fort gets attacked from the air by jets. 54 Pitt gets to use his homemade catapult 55 Al sneaks Special Forces in on the trains that had been held on the boarder. 56/57 Cavalry arrives. 58/59 Walk in to waste processing plant and dispatch Massarde. 60 onwards Finding the iron side and wrapping up the story. |
